Bianca Brandolini

I recently stumbled on a picture of Bianca Brandolini, Google tells me she is an Italian heiress who is BFFL with Olivia Palermo and dating Lapo Elkan, heir to the Fiat fortune. While she does evoke the green-eyed monster in me, I can’t stop admiring her awesome style. She is sexy with out having to try, she just has that effortless European style similar to Carine Roitfeld former editor in chief of French Vogue. There isn’t to much out there on Ms Brandolini but I think she is defiantly worth further investigation.

Sparkling Dinner @ Quay

I bought this AH-MAZING whitchery skirt in Sydney the other month and wore in out to dinner that night with a grey long sleeve tee with snake skin patterned heels. I love that it just fit straigh in with what i already owned and the few pieces I'd bought up for a weekend in Sydney. Quay is Austrial's only 3 hatted resturant, I had been wanting to visit since I'd heard about Peter Gilmore's snow egg! I had been hyping it up in my mind for so long and it deffinatly didn't disapoint! I only grabbed a few photos of the food, I felt a bit silly busting out the camera every 5 minutes! They are pieces of art and i'm glad I have a few photos to share...

My first course was a Salad of pickled rhubarb, endive, beetroot, purple carrot, rosa radish, kohlrabi, sheeps milk curd, pomegranate molasses and violet. Very rich and an amazing combination of flavours, beautifully presented too… love the colours!

I can’t remember which course this was but it was Bass groper, young vegetables, smoked butter, fennel pollen, white carrot cream and pea flowers!

Finally the famous guava and custard apple Snow Egg! The caramelised meringue ‘egg’ atop a bed of crystalline granita with a yoke of custard apple ice cream was the most amazing combination that I have ever put in my mouth! Just thinking about has got it watering!
